Load balancing and DSL Router question .. Streaming video?
The name of the customer has a debit system (POS) on a DSL line with dynamic IP course. If we add a second DSL line with static IP address for the DVR, would then install a load balancing router to double your upload speed? So would the first modem goes to a dynamic IP switch, the POS / debit system plugged in that switch, which will change the load balancing router, and also the second DSL line go to that load-balancing router. Will anyone recommend any and all a load balancing router if my theory is, in fact, correct? Thanks for any help, since I'm not familiar with load balancing routers. Do you think I'm going to be 2 to 2.5mbs to DVR like this?
You can not combine the lines will only get the speed of a line or the other! You can check and see if the provider has a higher speed. Otherwise, the ISP must have "Bond" the two lines so that you only have one IP then deliver the increased speed. Without a "single" line (or two lines joined together), you get two lines that can be either switched error or load balancing, but not combined. PS – I have a client that the views of your DVR through a standard line with no problems – not a "soft" but in fact you can check any camera or view the four – they are just a little slow in updating.
