Since acai berry came into prominence as health food with high nutritional value, there have been many companies and drug stores that have spurted up overnight claiming to be manufacturers of one acai product or the other. Though most of them have some reasonably good acai berry products, few have been making offers that seem like acai berry scam. Acai berry is a fruit that is derived from acai palm tree which grows naturally in Amazon forests. Now, Amazon forests are located only in South America and in some parts of Central America. Hence, these palm trees grow only there in their natural habitat. Some companies claim that they produce acai berry products from acai berry tree from Amazon but they are not able to originate any authentic sourcing information. This can raise doubt about the quality of acai berry, which have been grown somewhere else. If this is the case then it means acai berry tree from which these products are made are not from Amazon but from some other place where they have been growing under controlled conditions. Now, just imagine the quality of acai berry from these trees. They are not original though these companies advertise that way.
Hence, it is pertinent to know the source of acai berry in order to score authentic product. Next, acai berry scam is about those companies who claim that their acai berry products have all the nutrients available in raw acai berry. In fact, these company do not use freeze-dry technique after harvesting in order to slit cost and just acquire pulp without bothering about the time taken to do so. In this process, vital nutrients are lost and the product that they do is of improper quality. It is pertinent to be careful regarding products made by such companies. Acai berry pyramid draw is another type of acai berry scam. Under this scheme, you need to pay a lot of money in order to be piece of a program that sells acai berry pills, acai berry juice or acai berry organic extract. The objective of these schemes is to encourage you to add more people into these schemes and once you add more people, you earn a referral commission. It is just like other affiliate marketing stunt. Another acai berry scam is offering free trial of an acai product. This is nothing but a trick to get contain of your credit card number. The company offering you free trial sends you the acai berry product you demand, but asks you to pay shipping charges which are not Huge. You pay through your credit card. But the product you get is always shoddy and is of low quality but has high price tag. Now the company has your credit card number and it subscribes you for their products and sends you products though you have not asked for them and charges you credit card. Hence, it is very important to know the whereabouts of company, its credentials and its integrity before sourcing acai berry products from it. There is need to be careful about numerous sites that have sprung up in cyberspace that market acai berry products. It is better to be cautious than repent later. |
