Need help – with a USB-to-SATA converter with a 750 GB notebook hard disk.
Please help me. Here's what I want to buy: I would like buy a 750GB laptop hard drive and a USB converter. I would have a hard drive on my computer with a USB cable. That is all. No power cord. No Power Supply. Only one USB cable. And this whole thing should be able to fit OK in the bag .. The problem is that I do not see to drive in a position to have a converter supports hard that one so much. So, what should I buy?, Some converters support laptop hard drives up to 500GB. See link below. Converters that any hard disk support, you need a power cord. It seems to me that the basic need for the 500GB limit, or limit, which is larger drives require more power. just get a 500 gig 2.5 "laptop hard drive and put it in this case http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3743049&CatId=2777 I usually only have to connect it with the USB cable, but I had a desktop that wasn't enough power to i, it uses the second USB port for more power.
