I'm looking at the new MacBook Air and do not know much about computers … which is better?

Mainly I use my computer to internet, download music and videos, class notes, and images. Is it worth the extra money for the second, and what are the main differences in simpler terms?
Definitely not the second. In fact, even get a Macbook Air, just a Macbook. Macbook Air is way overpriced.
