during POST when checking drive HDD drive only shows cd and dvd but is not?
my 4 hard drive and register 2sata IDE 2. the other IDE 2 my Sony Cdrw drives, and DVDRW drive. About every 3 or 4 days in the middle of the night my computer just shuts down, when I opened it back is visible to all 6 but the drive when the boot process gets to the Win XP screen with the little green loading Bar it freezes. So I hit reset and it now only sees 4 of 6 and drives toward the screen that gives you a start win normally screen, last known good config, and I'll have the last known good configuration and everything works fine for another 4 or 5 days. Once running it sees the cd and dvd drive, and it never turns off while I was doing things only when it is in standby or sleep or screensaver mode in 4-7 hours, usually I sleep and wake up when my system just shut down, can anyone help?
If you do the proper configuration to your control panel> power options. Then I advise you to boot to save mode and repair.
