A. Pursue your prospects. Hounding people at the malls, begging friends and family ot support you (and most, sadly, will not), or passing out flyers and placing ads on car windshields. Or… B. BE Pursued. Generate hundreds of thousands of qualified leads monthly, have your leads contact you to do business with you, and build a large downline to attend you and help your team build your team effortlessly. In network marketing, your either in A or B. No “in-between”. Those who have the hardest time financially are ALWAYS in category A. And those who excel, grow their business, and execute residual income for a lifetime are ALWAYS in category B. In the past, it usually came down to a leaders physical strength, his/her ability to hunt and gather food for their social circle, and their ability to provide shelter for their family and friends. But in unusual times, the value of a real leader comes down to business acumen, social life, financial means, and education. In relation to network marketing, those qualities are sought after, because those qualities of a strong network marketing leader tends to rub off and has influence on their peers. They say “Birds of a feather, flock together”, but people are careful to “flock” with the right bird – the bird who leads their flock to a specific destination, and in network marketing – that’s usually financial independence for themselves and their family With that said, this proves that people really don’t care what business your in. They don’t care how sweet the compensation plan is, or what you say you can do for them – it all comes down to what real world value you can provide that will help them reach a definite goal. So ask yourself, what can you do to help your team members advance financial independence if they did join you in business? Can you help them believe in themselves? Can you aid them in their marketing campaign? Can you help develop their personality to be leaders themselves so they to can attract people into their business? You can do this by working on yourself, learn current marketing skills and personal development, and you’ll have your share of people who want a part of whatever your doing lawful. You have to see yourself as a leader, because no one is going to do it for you. You have to be willing to step up to the plate and follow your own plans – because people don’t follow theory – and believe me when I say that people can tell the difference between what you actually do and what you say. If your words and actions don’t match up, you’ll be seen as a poser – not a leader. Being a leader largely comes not from what you personally do, but how you feel about yourself. The key to BEING pursued vs. DOING the pursuing lies in your mindset. Because your mindset is what prepares you to take action on your marketing campaigns, it’s what allows you to handle the phone calls and snort confidently to your prospects, and it’s what keeps you focused on the big picture, and the small unimportant details that stops most net workers in their tracks. Remember this: Belief ALWAYS comes before results. It leads to the actions I just pointed out for you above. With enough time, those beliefs will be a part of your everyday life and will turn you into the type of person who is BEING pursued every day. |
