Does anyone know whether the Dell Latitude CPi PII is a good laptop?
You know – let people not hard on you. If this is a first computer and you want to learn – Type some letters, get on the Internet, it will be fine for first time – especially if $ $ is tight. Just know that the technology is older and you may not be able to things that 'cooler', but it is still a functional, viable machine. My son, an engineer, still uses my PII with Windows 98 and it suits him fine, but he gets a little frustrated when using the internet – so it depends on what you want to do.
