Why does not my mobile workforce without being connected to Linksys ethernet cable?
The wireless switch is on, and according to my device manager the controller is operating properly. However, when I disconnect the ethernet cable I can not get online. I've called Linksys, and can not help me without charging me as my warranty is expired. I had the same problem when I first got this computer and Linksys solved it then, but was made year and a phone call three hours long. I do not remember what it was that corrected the problem. I had to reformat it since and now I'm having the same problem. Any suggestions?
Try turning off wireless security on your router and your laptop. If that fixes it, enable security, make sure you use the same type of insurance (WPA2-PSK, for example). The password you set in the router must match what you enter in your wireless card.
