how to find or get the arc sin Value on microsoft excel? please help me… thanks before..
HI,
Arc sin will give you the measure of an angle. In MS Excel you can use the following formula.
=ASIN(1) , This will give the result of arc sin of 1 in radians i.e., 1.570796327 radians
Now if you want to convert it to degrees then you will have to multiply it with 180 and divide it bi Pi i.e., =ASIN(1)*180/PI(). This will give the result of arc sin of 1 in degrees i.e., 90 degrees
Now place the number which ever you want to calculate arc sin for in the brackets i.e.
=ASIN(Place the number here)*180/PI() for answer in degrees
=ASIN(Place the number here) for answer in radians
Also do not forget to use the equal sign in the beginning because otherwise MS excel will consider this to be text not formula and correct answer will not be displayed.
