How do I get my LiteOn DH-20A3H DVD Ram drive to recognize all DVD media?
Ram DVD drive does not recognize any media. This is a Lightscribe drive and burn the label side lightscibe but not see any CD / DVD media. I am the latest firmware and use the latest update Nero 7 (which which seems perfectly when I swap the drives on my old drive LiteOn 1693S). In a dos window I try to access the drive (F:) and it says "the device is not ready. "In Windows (XP Pro) it justs says" insert disc "even what your area to drive. Very frustrating as the drive spins and writes the Lightscribe label! … So the motor is not lost out. This is just a few months old (probably not used) and only happened after I wrote the first Lightscribe label! So you think I the LightScribe function is screwed up something. Any ideas? Note, this is an internal DVD Writer. I think it's some windows xp settings that got screwed up. Any ideas?
